If you're like most Americans, this holiday season may feel less jolly and more stressful than previous years. With inflation rising, costs of daily essentials seem out of reach to many, let alone the idea of spending money this holiday season. If you feel the need to spend this season, here's some helpful advice to check off your lists - and yes, check it twice! Because I am sure there's some naughty's who haven't been nice!

Holiday Hacks, Tips, and Tricks

Bundle and Save

Have a large family you are shopping for? One of my favorite tips is to bundle and save! Companies such as Comfrt Clothing offers a bundle; buy a pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt for the price of one. With this bundle, gift 2 people for the price of one! My siblings wear the same size, so one will be gifted the sweatshirt, and the other, the sweatpants. TA- DA! There's 2 people crossed off the list.

Make an Essentials Gift Basket

I know many millennials like myself loathe shopping for daily essentials. A trip to target will easily run us well over $200 in a matter of minutes! Instead of getting gift cards this year, make a gift basket. Buy bulk toilet paper, wine, paper towels, toothpaste, Advil, wine, detergent, soaps, water, did I mention wine... etc. Divide the items and easily create 5/6 baskets for your nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Shop Small and Local

Big corporations always come out on top year-over -year, but the same cannot be said for small business owners, like myself. Consider supporting your friends, family and community by shopping local. Check out local vendor events and farmers markets to purchase unique and oftentimes personalized items for your loved ones.
